01How does the technology tree work in Palworld?
You earn Technology points by levelling up, then spend them to unlock recipes. There are 300 unlockable technologies spread across levels 2 to 80. Ancient Technology points are separate — they come from defeating tower bosses and only unlock ancient recipes.
02What unlocks at each level in Palworld?
Every level from 2 to 80 unlocks at least one technology. The busiest tiers are level 15 (8 unlocks), level 35 (8 unlocks), level 38 (7 unlocks), level 45 (8 unlocks), level 61 (7 unlocks). Use the level filter above to jump straight to yours.
03Did patch 1.0.3 change any technology levels?
Yes. The Jetragon Pal Gear unlock moved from level 79 to 70, matching the level Jetragon spawns at in the wild, and the Aquatic Construction Kit moved from level 66 to 23 with its Ancient Technology point cost cut from 4 to 1. Both levels on this page reflect the patch.
04Can you reset technology points in Palworld?
Yes. A Technology point reset is available, so an early misspend is not permanent. Ancient Technology points can be reset the same way, which matters more since tower bosses are the only source.
05What should you unlock first in Palworld?
Follow the route rather than the tree: the progression guides on this site sequence unlocks against what you actually need next, instead of listing everything a level makes available. The tree is the reference you check when you have a point to spend and want to see the full menu.
