Why 'best Fire Pal' is the wrong question
The Fire roster in Palworld 1.0 covers 44 Pals, and the ones that top a damage ranking are not the ones that top a base ranking. Renjishi has the highest Kindling level in the game and average combat stats; Eidrolon Ignis is more than twice as fast as anything else in the element and is not the hardest hitter. Ask what job you are filling first, then read the stat that matters for it.
Combat: Blazamut Ryu, then Jormuntide Ignis
Blazamut Ryu is the strongest Fire fighter: 150 melee, 130 ranged, 125 defence and 105 HP, at the top skill power tier. Dragon Kaiser improves Dragon damage to enemy weak points by 25~40% for you and your Pals while it is in the party, so it pays out from the bench as well as the field.
Jormuntide Ignis is the sturdier option at the same 150 melee with 130 HP. Stormbringer Lava Dragon nullifies lava damage and raises damage against Burn-afflicted enemies by 50~65%, which pairs naturally with a Burn-inflicting team. Incineram is the budget pick — 150 melee, but only 95 HP and 85 defence, so it hits as hard and folds much faster.
Base work: Renjishi at Kindling 8
For a furnace or refining line, the only number that matters is Kindling level. Renjishi leads the entire game at 8. Jormuntide Ignis and Flaracle follow at 7, and Blazamut Ryu, Eidrolon Ignis and Faleris sit at 6. The gap between a Kindling 8 worker and a Kindling 3 one is the difference between a line that keeps up and one that stalls.
Renjishi's low 500 sprint speed does not matter here — a base worker never travels. Its partner skill makes your attacks inflict Burn 2~6, so it is not dead weight if you do bring it out.
Farming: Faleris multiplies your session
Faleris is the Fire Pal that changes how long a farm takes rather than how much damage you deal. Scorching Predator makes Ice Pals drop 40~80% more items when defeated, and Ice Pals are where World Tree Holy Water comes from — the Awakening material people run out of first. Field Faleris, clear Ice-type spawns, and the same route returns far more per run.
It is also a flying mount at 1400 sprint speed and has 68 precise spawn points on the map, making it both easy to obtain and useful on two axes at once.
Travel: Eidrolon Ignis, and it is not close
Eidrolon Ignis rides at 2750 sprint speed against 1400 for Faleris, 1200 for Blazamut Ryu and 1000 for Jormuntide Ignis. It is a flying mount, and Resentful Pterosaur raises its own attack and movement speed by 2~6% for every other Dragon or Fire Pal in your party, so it gets better the more you commit to the element.
Fire is weak to Water — plan around it
Whatever you pick, Fire takes extra damage from Water. A Fire-heavy roster is efficient against Grass and Ice and exposed the moment a Water boss appears, so keep a Water answer benched rather than rebuilding the team mid-run. The element pages on this site list every matchup if you want to check a specific fight before you commit.
