Palworld 1.1 is confirmed, deliberately small, and hiding one big requested feature
Pocketpair has confirmed Version 1.1 with no date, ruled out a new continent and a level cap raise, and teased one feature players have been asking for without saying which. Here is what is actually on the record.

Small on purpose, and that is the news
Pocketpair has said it is not planning to spend a year building a massive update for 1.1. After a 903-day road to 1.0, that is a deliberate change of cadence rather than a throwaway line.
It also sets expectations correctly. A smaller, faster update means systems and quality-of-life work rather than a new region with its own boss tier and material economy. Anyone reading 1.1 as 'the next 1.0' is going to be disappointed by an update that is doing exactly what the studio said it would.
What has been ruled out
Two things specifically: a new continent, and another twenty levels of progression. Both were described as well beyond the scope of Version 1.1.
The level cap detail is the one with a practical consequence. If you were banking levels or holding back an Awakening in anticipation of the cap moving past 80, there is no reason to keep waiting. Spend the resources on the roster you have.
The feature nobody will name
Pocketpair has confirmed 1.1 contains a feature players have been asking for for a while, and has not said which one. That is the whole of the official statement — a confirmed gap, not a hint.
The requests that dominate community discussion are inventory management, a Palbox search that copes with a full box, and automated crafting queues. All three fit the profile of a small update, which is exactly why they are the popular guesses. None of them has been confirmed, and treating a popular guess as a leak is how a wish list turns into a rumour that outlives the update.
Nothing to hold your save for
There is no date, no cap raise and no announced content. That makes the correct play straightforward: keep going. Palworld 1.0.3 from August 12 is the current state of the game, and it is the version every route, tier list and calculator on this site is built against.
When Pocketpair names the feature or gives a window, this post gets updated and the routes get checked against it. Until then, an update with no timetable is not a reason to stop playing the one you have.
