A Jetragon that moves
The animatronic Jetragon is the draw, and it is a reasonable choice: it is the Pal most players associate with the endgame, and the one whose Pal Gear unlock Pocketpair moved from level 79 to 70 back in 1.0.3.
The life-size statues around it — Cattiva, Daedream, Ribbuny, Menasting — read as a deliberate spread rather than a greatest-hits shelf: two Pals almost every save owns early, and two that mean more if you played past the opening hours.
What has not been announced
Pocketpair’s post covers the booth, not the software. There is no confirmed playable build, no 1.1 reveal, and no dated announcement attached to the show.
Version 1.1 is confirmed to exist and has no release window. The studio has said it will not repeat the multi-year gap that preceded 1.0, and that 1.1 will arrive as several smaller updates rather than one drop — which is an argument against a single big TGS reveal, not for one.
Where it sits in the calendar
Version 1.0.4 shipped September 7. The Global Popularity Poll closes September 28. TGS runs September 17 to 21, between the two.
That is convenient timing rather than evidence of anything: it gives Pocketpair a physical stage while a fresh patch and an open public vote are both running. Whether the studio uses it for more than a booth is not something the announcement answers.
