The only way in
Sunreach is the sky-island region added in Palworld 1.0, and the single most common question about it is how to even get there — because you cannot fly up to it from the surface. The only entrance is a portal at the very top of the Feybreak Tower. You beat that tower's boss, Bjorn & Bastigor, climb to the summit, step through the altar, and you land on Sunreach. Once unlocked, that portal is added to your fast-travel list, so later trips don't require re-climbing the tower or beating the boss again.
Come geared, and bring something warm
Recommended entry level sits around 58, with named and alpha Pals scattered from level 65 up to 70 — treat that as the range to be ready for rather than a hard floor. The climb up Feybreak Tower itself is a cold biome, so pack cold-resistant gear before you start, not after you're shivering partway up.
Crossing the islands
The islands are separated by void. The purple teleport orbs floating between them drop you at a random point in the region — good for quick exploration, not for reaching a specific island on purpose. For controlled traversal, use the per-island teleport altars instead. Sunreach is also the only place to find Soralite ore, worth keeping an eye out for while you explore.
The whirlwind puzzle and the tower boss
Once you're in, the region gates its own boss behind a puzzle: a whirlwind shields the central tower on Azure Tapestry while six defense modules are active. Each module is marked by a beam of light you can spot from a distance, so it's a route, not a search — disable all six and the whirlwind drops. Behind it waits Auri & Shaolong (level 68, Water/Dragon, roughly 327,600 HP — Ice or Electric counters like Frostallion or Orserk work well), whose defeat starts the Panthalus questline toward the World Tree. If you're on the veteran route, the whole Sunreach sequence is laid out substep by substep.
