Palworld on Switch and Switch 2: still nothing, and the reason is hardware
Palworld 1.0 shipped on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Xbox One. Nintendo hardware was not on that list and still is not. Pocketpair's stated reason has always been technical, not legal — and no Switch 2 version has been announced.

The confirmed platform list
Palworld 1.0 runs on PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store, on PlayStation 5, on Xbox Series X and S, and on Xbox One, and it is on Game Pass. That is the complete list.
Nintendo hardware has not appeared on it at any point since the game entered early access, and nothing about the 1.0 launch changed that.
The reason given was specs, not lawyers
Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe put it directly in an interview: Palworld's PC specifications are higher than the Switch's, so a port would be hard for technical reasons. He stopped short of ruling one out, but the objection he named was hardware capability.
Asked in the same period whether Nintendo or The Pokémon Company had raised any complaint about the game, he said they had said nothing at all. The technical explanation and the later patent lawsuit are separate things, and conflating them produces a story that the sources do not support.
Switch 2 is a genuinely open question
Here is the part most write-ups skip. Mizobe's comments were about the original Switch. Switch 2 is substantially more capable, so the specific technical objection he raised does not automatically apply to it.
That is not evidence a port is coming. It only means the reasoning that ruled out the first Switch has not been restated for the second, and Pocketpair has announced nothing either way. The honest position is an open question, not a denial and not a leak.
