Palworld is coming for Pokémon's last stronghold: a trading card game
Palworld Official Card Game: Dawn of Palpagos launches worldwide July 30 with Bushiroad — arriving right as the Pokémon card market hits one of the biggest booms in its 30-year history.

Palworld is taking the fight to the one arena Pokémon has never truly been challenged in: physical trading cards. The Palworld Official Card Game launches worldwide July 30 (Japanese, English and Simplified Chinese simultaneously), made in collaboration with Bushiroad, one of Japan's most respected card publishers.
The first set is Dawn of Palpagos, built on all-new artwork rather than reused game assets. It launches with two products side by side: Trial Decks (a 50-card main deck, 10-card 'soul' deck, playmat, life counter, rulebook and a bonus booster pack, ¥1,960 in Japan) and standalone Booster Packs (7 cards, ¥440). Pocketpair and Bushiroad are printing roughly 3.5 million booster packs for the initial run — wide retail distribution, not a limited drop.
The timing is pointed. The Pokémon TCG is currently riding one of the biggest booms in its three-decade history, with the collectors' market hotter than it has been in years. Landing a rival card game into that energy is a deliberate move, not a coincidence. No organized-play or tournament support has been announced yet.
